In the Sunday August 22nd edition of Parade Magazine, editors asked high school counselors to select their "College A-List" for 2010-1011. Under the "Small State Schools" category, ten of the twenty colleges selected are members of COPLAC.

The Great Lakes Maritime Research Institute (GLMRI) has been awarded a $750,000 US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 5 Midwest Clean Diesel Initiative GrantThis link points to an external webpage and will open in a new browser window or tab. to help reduce air emissions from a 1,000-foot Great Lakes ore carrier.

St. Mary’s College Chosen as One of First Leaders of the Maryland Green Registry
(St. Mary's City, MD) July 8, 2010-St. Mary's College of Maryland (SMCM) is one of five organizations to receive the Leadership Award of the Maryland Green Registry.
